On this tour, you will have a chance to get to know the Swahili village lifestyle and the daily life of a typical Zanzibarian, including what they do with their hands and how they live in mud houses – it’s amazing. We will take you to Kinyasini village in central Zanzibar to discover the famous Zanzibar doors. We will stop at Mkokotoni village, famous for its fishing activities. Here, you will see the fish market and busy fishermen bringing their catch from their boats.
Next, we will proceed to the village of Nungwi, where new and old wooden dhows and boats are repaired and manufactured. The tour ends with a visit to the turtle sanctuary in Nungwi, relaxation on the white sand beach, and swimming in the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
