Early wake-up and departure to Zanzibar Airport. The flight takes off at 8:00, arriving in Arusha at 9:00. Meet with our guide and a brief description of the safari, then start the safari to the Ngorongoro Crater (Conservation Area). Once past the entrance gates, descend into the crater and spend the rest of the day on an incredible safari. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcanic caldera. It’s nearly 20 km wide, about 600 m deep, and is known for its wide variety of wildlife. Besides the Big Five (rhinos, leopards, lions, buffaloes, and elephants), you might see various animals like wildebeests, gazelles, warthogs, and countless bird species. You’ll stop for lunch at a beautiful designated picnic area around noon. Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most important protected areas, has a diverse ecosystem, boasting of hosting 2-3 million wild animals. Ngorongoro enjoys a splendid location with lakes, grasslands, swamps, and forests on the rim, providing an impressive panoramic view of animals and landscapes. Overnight at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet with the guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. This fantastic park known as “the Elephant Paradise” is truly unique; during your journey, you’ll see some Masai villages along the way and some wildlife. Around 12:00 – 13:00, you’ll have a packed lunch in a breathtaking designated picnic area surrounded by animals in their natural habitats. After lunch and a short break, you’ll head for an afternoon game drive in the park, with the chance to see animals like lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, baboons, hyenas, antelopes, kudu, cheetahs, warthogs, monkeys, and more… Tarangire Park offers refuge to over 500 bird species. Evening return to Arusha Airport for the flight to Zanzibar.

Early morning, after breakfast, you’ll depart from the hotel towards Materuni Waterfalls, a 1-hour and 45-minute drive from the village of Materuni located at the base of Kilimanjaro National Park. You’ll be able to learn traditions and customs, as well as how the local Chagga population cultivates and processes coffee for substance use; you’ll visit the coffee farm, pick coffee, and prepare your strong local coffee. And take a 30-minute hike to the Materuni Waterfalls, which are about 80 m high to explore nature and swim; this waterfall is the drainage of freshwater from Mount Kilimanjaro. Next, we’ll go to Machame Gates for photos of some different information about Mount Kilimanjaro. Then you’ll return to Arusha Charity Hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for the flight to Zanzibar. It takes 1 hour from Arusha to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you’ll meet our driver and be taken to your hotel. This will mark the end of your safari.
