This tour is a very amazing tour. You can visit a real spice farm where you can see, smell, and taste different spices from Zanzibar and some exotic spices with tropical fruits. You will learn how they are cultivated and used, and also get cultural insights into how they are used in Swahili cuisine, medication, and as beauty products. You will either buy the spices or harvest some ingredients with the Chef and go back to the class where we will cook together, including dessert.
At the end of the hands-on cooking session, we sit down to enjoy the 4-course meal together. Our program runs throughout the year and can be joined by people of all ages.
